2019/20 – Coaches Player of the Year

Another hotly contested award. In the event of an initial tie between the coaches/committee, we had to proceed to a second vote purely between the two tied for 1st with the box to box centre midfielder just edging it.

Christian is an absolute workhorse in midfield and can turn the play from defence to attack very quickly with his marauding runs. He has a skill of manipulating his body into many different shapes to squeeze through a sea of bodies and still keep possession which sometimes defies belief… however in possessing this skill he has had to sacrifice being photogenic in any action shot photography!

Almost ever present from day 1, his commitment is a coaches dream & looking back it’s mad he was not involved in the 1st team sooner than he was.
